Duke Nukem Forever

Just saw that the game that's been in development hell since I was twelve is finally getting a release date, the ultimate game of the nineties, Duke Nukem Forever.  I've never played a Duke Nukem game, but I know the general concept: fart joke, cliche toughguy line, fart joke, shooting, half naked big breasted woman, shooting, toughguy line, etc etc.  And I really have to question how good an idea it is to even be releasing this game so far out of it's appropriate decade.  The Duke may have been popular back then, but I highly doubt that it'll retain that after gamers has devolved as they have...  On second thought, I'm sure the 'do I haaaaaavvveee to have a story?  Can't I just shoot stuff?' gamers that Halo bred would love it... *faceplam*
